TERNA – CGES joint study activities aim at assessing the influence of installing a second pole of HVDC system between Montenegro and Italy on system security and stability, identification of eventual constrains that can prevent the full exploitation of the HVDC link as well as providing recommendations about corrective actions and countermeasures to resolve identified issues.
Study on influence of installing a second pole of HVDC system between Montenegro and Italy comprises the following activities:
- Model preparation
- Steady state analyses
- Load flow analysis
- Voltage profile analysis
- Contingency analysis
- Short circuit calculation (Short Circuit Ratio and Effective Short Circuit Ratio)
- Stability analyses
- Frequency stability
- Angle stability
- Voltage stability
Type of services provided:
- Data collection
- Conversion of ENTSO-E CE models from UCTE to PSS/E format with TNA software tool
