The project is intended to provide to APG the analysis of network and market aspects of the Bidding Zone configuration, which would help APG to define its position towards the ongoing process of bidding zones review in Europe, especially regarding the resolution of Austria and Germany. The project will also enable APG to develop the methodology, procedure, and necessary software tools for regular reviews of bidding zones, as required by CACM Regulation.
EKC provides consulting services in developing the concept related to the network analyses by applying the Flow-based principles, as well as correlation between network analyses (performed by EKC, using own TNA software) and market analyses (to be performed by APG, using own market Modelling software solution).
EKC also provided to APG the software license of Transmission Network Analyzer (TNA 1.7.). Within this project, the additional TNA modules are being developed, for the purposes of Bidding Zone Reviews.
Type of services provided:
- Concept of Biding Zone review analyses
- Preparation and Calculation of Flow-based parameters
- Correlation between network and market analyses and databases
- TNA software upgrades
