Provision of Software Tool for Adequacy Analyses and Training Course for its Implementation
client: Elektromreze Srbije (Serbia)
type: Study and Software
finishing date: September 2017 (December 2017)
team: Dragana Orlic – Project Manager, I. Mihajlovic-Vlaisavljevic, D. Vlaisavljevic
Through this project provision of Antares as sw tool for adequacy analyses is ensured as well as training of the staff for implementation of the tool.
The core of the platform is defined by probabilistic sequential system simulator able to:
- apply probabilistic simulations encompassing combinations of different solar, wind, load, hydrological “years”
- combine thermal dispatching (unit commitment and optimal hourly dispatching) and the use of storages with the aim to minimize the overall cost of the system
- take into account grid characteristics (either as NTCs or GTCs with or without equivalent impedances/PTDFs) in optimization process
Training has been organized in 5 sessions (one session per day) with focus on installation of the tool, modeling of different system elements with peculiarity of the Serbian power system and power systems of the SEE region, simulations and results analyses.
Type of services provided:
- Provision of software tool
- Training course for its implementation in the case of Serbian power system and power systems of the SEE region
