ENTSO-E adopted the Common Grid Model Exchange Standard (CGMES), based on CIM xml 2.4.13 on 18 December 2013. ENTSO-E launched the issue of Test Configuration’s development – CGMES, in order to design the various test models that will be used to assess conformity of the software tools used with the Common Grid Model Exchange Standard (CGMES) implementation.
EKC and Schneider Electric DMS are tasked to develop the configuration item(s), to be used at CIM IOP test:
- Mini Grid (load flow, short circuit)
- Small Grid (load flow, HVDC, equivalents).
The following activities have been performed:
- Development of Mini grid test models, including:
- load flow models
- short circuit models
- bus-branch and node-breaker configurations
- difference files
- Development of Small grid test models, including:
- load flow models
- HVDC models
- equivalents
- bus-branch and node-breaker configurations
- difference files
- substation and wide area diagrams.
